We will greet you with smiles to welcome you to worship with us. We have a gift bag for first time visitors, and if you leave your name and adress on the Registration Pad, we will bring you a gift of homemade bread.
Here is some information that will help make you more comfortable during your first visit.
We have free breakfast each Sunday at 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. for a time of fellowship before the early worship service. The guys cook breakfast, and they may have pancakes or they may have biscuits and gravy.
God accepts us as we are. We could be considered casual but that really means people can wear whatever they are comfortable in to church. Jeans or shorts and T-shirts or suits and ties are welcome.
Our Hospitality Team prepares coffee and will serve you a cup between our worship services. This is a great time to meet people and a chance to talk to the pastors. Stay after the early service or come early for the 11:00 service and have a free cup of coffee. We just ask that you only bring water into our new sactuary.
We have two parking lots which can be entered on Duff Avenue. There are also handicapped parking spaces available in the alley between the church and multi-ministries building and the first row in the parking lot. On-street parking is also allowed.
Children are welcome in our worship services. We have a Children's Moment when the children can come forward to hear a message from our puppets. There are also activity bags available with books and crayons. If you prefer, Child Care is available upstairs during both Worship Services and Sunday School.
Everyone is welcome to receive Holy Communion which is offered the first Sunday of each month. You do not have to be a member or perfect to receive. The gift is itself the real presence of God's forgiveness and mercy. If you choose to participate, join the line in the center aisle, and when you reach the front, you will be given the bread which you can dip in the chalice of grape juice. If you prefer, you can choose juice in an individual cup. You can spend time at the altar or return to your seat by the side aisle. You may notice some leaving a donation for "We Care" fund at the altar, but it is not necessary.
