"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23, NIV
God wants us to live a life of faith and purpose and closer to Him. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? It is for everyone who trusts Him.
But in our lives we see so much, (sin, abuse, drugs, popping pills, drinking, partying, sleeping with whoever). It is the same old pattern every day. If we look at it long enough, we don’t even see it anymore. Because if we surround ourselves with sin long enough, we don’t even see it. We read about these terrible things, see them on TV and our mind just looks over them. We spend our lives believing these things are alright/okay. Things that go against God.
Do we just keep conforming or will we be transformed?
So this Advent, let's read our Bibles and start practicing God’s Word in our daily lives. God really, really loves us!
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." II Timothy 3:16-17, NIV
